You need JavaScript enabled to view it Website Address Phone: 518-647-8666 The AuSable Valley/Indole Golf Course was built in the early 1900s by the J. & J. Rogers Company. The word "Indole," in Spanish, means natural contour. William Hickey purchased the course in 1984 from the AuSable Development Corp. and changed the courses name to AuSable Valley Golf Club. Various holes were also changed to make for safer play. The course is built on a hill. The natural terrain makes it a difficult course to play and no shot is ever the same. The rolling fairways, with woods on either side, make it a challenge for any golfer. The course rating is 121 for men and 115 for women. The course opens for the season on the first of April and closes October 31st. The club house serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Public is always welcome.
